2. Set the right tone: When you are setting the tone, you need to decide what you want your followers to think of you. Also, try to always put a human touch on your tweets.

You want to make your # relevant to your post as it’s how users will be able to find your tweets; for instance, if I was to tweet about the football, I would #football, then anyone who searched football would see my tweet.
4. Less is More: Twitter already caps you to 140-character’s. This stops you from writing an essay, but never the less, the limit is not something you should be aiming at reaching. The shorter and snappier the tweets, the better.
5. Get Personal: Get personal with your Twitter; respond to tweets that are relevant to you. Try to Favourite and retweet tweets you feel have relevance to you. This will create engagement with the user, showing them that you are interested in what they are saying and will have a positive impact on them.

Try to respond to all brand related tweets good or bad: Responding to content that is shared about you is key; if the content is negative, you can ask ways in which this can be avoided in the future and if there is anything you can do to resolve the situation. If the content is positive, reply showing your appreciation and try use this positive content to your advantage.
10. Be consistent: Always make sure you are consistent with your tweets; try to make weekly plans. Don’t bombarded people with tweets and information. It is important you plan your tweets around your business.
