Bing to Host Webinars for Webmasters

Bing has recently announced changes to their Webmaster Guidelines, which can be found in the Help section of Bing Webmaster in the Content Guidelines section. These changes include broad advice on Technical SEO, Social Media, Content, Links and Things to Avoid. For more in-depth discussion, however, they will be hosting a number of Bing Webmaster Webinars in the coming months, so that webmasters can become as versed in search and optimisation as Internet marketing agencies! These webinars will cover a range of topics related to search marketing and website optimisation. The first of the seminars will be taking place on the 28th November at 12 Noon EST (that's 5pm GMT for the UK, and this will remain the same for all webinars). SEO 101 will take a look at all of the areas that require work for SEO. This will include both on-page and off-page optimisation technical and non-technical for a full overview of the optimisation process. The following month, Bing will be hosting another webinar focused on search engine robots. Crawling Basics on December 11th will analyse the way in which robots crawl and therefore index your content, as well as dealing with which elements might affect which parts of your site are crawled and which are not. The first webinar of the New Year will be airing on he 10th of January and will concentrate on a Webmaster Tools Overview. The webinar will focus on the tools and data available using Bing's service

  • how to configure, use, and make the most out of the SEO Analyser, Link Explorer and Crawl Controls. On the 24th of January, the Authority Building webinar will take place. Authority Building is the process involved in increasing the authority your domain wields, therefore improving its gravitas for search ranking. Search / Social Overlap on February 7th will go over how social affects search results, how it's becoming a leading factor in determining what content is of value to searchers, and how to use this to your advantage for business. Tomorrow's SEO on February 21st will detail how SEO will evolve and what you can do to keep up with the constant changes to search engine algorithms.
