Google’s Fresher Image & Blog Results

Google is very serious about the search results that its search engine delivers to its users. Refinements have become a continuous process; not a month passes when Google is not busy fine tuning the search algorithms. As Google's search engine evolves into an intelligent and more humanly tool, internet marketing experts are already feeling the heat. These folks are always on their toes, ready to absorb each and every change made to Google's search engine algorithm. A few weeks back, Google announced yet another set of modifications and improvements which covers three important elements. 1. New signals

  • Content is the king and Google firmly believes in this adage. The new signals helps Google find original content among several similar web pages. These signals will also help find fresher images whenever such a query is made. Their new logarithm avoids listing of dummy, parked domains which typically do not have valuable content. These are used as place holders. 2. Indexing
  • Apart from the main pages or index pages, the new refinements now offers search results which provides links associated with deeper web pages. This means even inner pages or long tail documents will rank high as far as relevance to a particular query is concerned. This will also mean better blog search results in terms of freshness and richness. Today, as Google refines and fine tunes its search engine algorithms, it has become imperative for websites to provide fresh and relevant content. SEO fundamentals are also evolving accordingly. The content indexing has undergone a sea change. Every search provides a varying degree of freshness and relevancy. In such a scenario it is advisable to keep the website up to date. Folks offering internet marketing services have noticed these changes. Searches are providing fresher results today than what they did in the past. Whether it is pure content, a blog post or a discussion, search engine is offering content faster, with increased relevancy and originality. Google has made it clear that as and when they find fresh content, irrespective of when it was published it will add these pages straight to its index. This in turn will fetch absolutely unique content for the users. Google has made provision which will disallow website owners to cheat its search engine. It will be difficult to fool search engine by changing just a paragraph of the content. It will have no impact on the ranking. The whole content has to be new. That is the way the new algorithm works. 3. Search results
  • Search results will be more humane. Users will get what they type; literally. It will be the new mantra. Multiple results from one site will be limited and better auto complete predictions are some of the other changes that are being made to their algorithms. For example if a user searches for Grand Prix racing. Google search will give preference to web pages that provides the current race results or schedules rather than the results of the past races. This new criteria will impact several websites. Favourite topics will continue to command more importance, irrespective of when it was published.
